Jeffrey Kraez is an experienced industry veteran with a keen eye for improving performance with actionable business intelligence and insightful forecasting. He currently serves as the General Manager for WIDIA Americas, a subsidiary of Kennametal, where he leads the Americas commercial business, which includes both outside and inside sales, marketing and sales operations.
Jeff started his career as a manufacturing engineer where he discovered his passion for tooling. This led to his entrance to the world of sales for industrial cutting tool suppliers selling round tools for Guhring followed by Titex and Prototyp.
Since then, he has held various roles including field sales engineer, technical specialist and product management. In 2006, he moved into sales management for Walter USA where he led the US sales team for the next 10 years. In 2015, he joined the WIDIA Products Group leading the strategy for the Americas by developing the companies go-to-market strategies and channel partners program.
