Ellis Moseley joined Hisco in 2015 as SVP and CFO, and has responsibilities for the finance/accounting, human resources, legal, risk management and real estate functions. Hisco is a specialty distribution company with facilities in 35 cities throughout North America serving the electronic assembly, aerospace and defense, medical, electronics and industrial markets.
Before joining Hisco, Moseley was EVP and CFO/CAO of Freeman for 21 years beginning in 1994. Freeman is a provider of integrated marketing solutions for live events with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. During his time as CFO, the company increased its revenues from $265 million to $2.0 billion and 17 acquisitions were completed.
Prior to Freeman, Moseley was with NationsBank (predecessor to Bank of America) for 13 years. He served in various managerial positions in the Corporate Banking Division and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1991, during which time he was responsible for all corporate finance activities in 13 Western states.
Moseley currently serves on the Boards of two employee-owned companies and the Advisory Board of the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business. He has also served on the Boards of The ESOP Association (2008-2011) and Freeman Exposition Services, Inc. (2001-2015). He is active in the Industrial Supply Association, Financial Executives International, The ESOP Association, and National Association of Corporate Directors. In 2016, he was awarded the Life Service Award from The ESOP Association for his contributions to that organization. Moseley holds a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bradley University.
