Speaker’s Bio: 

Denise James has enjoyed a diverse and global twenty-plus year career working in several industries. She has held progressive key operations and human resources leadership roles at Ford Motor Company, Brady Corporation, and Ford Credit financial services including: managing marketing, sales, and service customer and dealer experiences, human resources business partnering, union & salaried relations, recruiting, accelerated talent development, culture, wellness, diversity & inclusion, and learning & employee development.

As Head of Talent, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion at Ford Credit, Denise coaches and consults with global executive leaders and teams around strategic human centered integrated talent management design and execution, culture transformation, the employee experience, and advancing diversity and inclusion.

Denise earned her Business Management degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Human Resources Management certification from the University of California at Los Angeles.
She actively contributes to several employee resource groups, community organizations, and is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Denise is passionate around authentic servant leadership, mentoring, and making a difference. She is a founding member of the Industrial Supply Association’s (ISA) Women Industrial Supply Executives (W.I.S.E.), has served on various committees, and is currently on the W.I.S.E. Advisory Council.

Denise, her husband Eric, daughter Bianca, and sons Justin and Jayson reside in the Detroit Metro area. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and watching American football.
